The Operations Team brings together diverse backgrounds and experiences—reflecting the richness of IBC churches. Though spread across South Africa and Europe, we are united in purpose, coordinating efforts to support convention activities and advance the disciple-making mission of every local church.
TIM FAULKNER
General Secretary
Tim is completing his fifth year as General Secretary, serving an international family of churches after 22 years in Naples, Italy—where good coffee and warm hospitality open doors to much more of life. His years in church planting and leadership development built a deep commitment to strengthening churches and their leaders. Tim travels widely to encourage pastors face-to-face and support churches when needed. He leads the convention with vision, working with Presidents and Core Strategy Directors to inspire and equip local churches in their disciple-making mission.
Originally from upstate New York and northeast Pennsylvania, Tim enjoys tennis, biking, and discovering authentic cultural experiences around the world. He speaks English and Italian and is learning German. Best of all, he gets to share life and ministry with his best friend and wife, Jacki. Their oldest two children live in the U.S., while their youngest, married to Vito since April 2025, lives just south of them in Offenbach, Germany.
DONNA GOSMAN
Operations Manager
Donna brings a wealth of experience shaped by a global perspective. Raised in Kenya as an MK, she later moved to Canada, studied administration in university, raised four kids in the Lord, and has served God’s people as a ministry spouse for more than 33 years. Recently, she and her husband began serving international churches - first in Bulgaria and now, in Poland. Outside of work, she enjoys mystery and spy novels, complex puzzles, cultural events in city squares, and the delicacies of global cuisine.
JUDITH LYNN MAXWELL
Bookkeeper
Judith Lynn has been a part of the IBC since 1995 and on staff since 2011. Born in Virginia (USA), she studied journalism and French at university before working in various roles in IT and editing theological training materials. She and her husband (they met in the IBC!) are active lay leaders in their church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cross-stitching, sewing, and playing the piano and organ.
ELLICE AQUINO
Communications Assistant
Ellice oversees communications at the IBC, making sure there’s strong connection between the office, the pastors, and our member churches. Originally from Manila and now based in Madrid, she loves serving in ministry and has slowly grown her skills in visual arts, music, and leadership. She studied illustration and design to follow her calling.
Ellice is small and loves making things look pretty. If she’s upset, it might just be due to a lack of negative space. And believe it or not, she enjoys singing even more than drawing.
ELDANE BOTES
Intern
Eldane helps out with the little things the IBC staff can't get to. She mainly works on our social media and is a video-making machine, while also studying graphic design.
Eldane was born and raised in South Africa and works remotely from there. She moved around a lot as an MK and PK in her family of seven. Before coming to the IBC, she served at a church in South Africa, working as a kids ministry intern. Eldane loves a variety of things, including missions, all things art, dancing (even though she can't tell her left from right), and bright colors, as well as dress-up parties.
