Yemi has been married for 12 years and blessed with 2 children, Yemi has trained and worked internationally as an Architect and an Artist over the last 15 years in London, Lagos, Geneva, Italy and Germany.
9 years ago the premature birth of her first daughter shortly followed by the untimely death of her father, sparked an interest in therapeutic art and scribble techniques, making each piece of art work completely abstract, different in colour, texture theme and composition.
During this period the family relocated to Taunus in Germany due to a work transfer. Over the next 3 years it was a blessing have an opportunity to attend and be a part of the International Christian Fellowship Church in Taunus during this posting.
In this church, through worship and bible study courses in the Women's Ministry, she learnt how to trust in the Lord and praise Him at all times. Yemi was able to develop and explore her abstract and therapeutic art techniques within the women's ministry.
She was encouraged to share her ability to facilitate others to paint expressively in the women's ministry whilst focusing on God.
Sharing this gift in the ICF Women's Ministry led by Siggy Levey, was the beginning of a journey that led to Yemi developing and offering "expressive scribble classes" in Christian retreats and Churches in the UK and Germany.
These experiences have also led to various art exhibitions and commissions in Frankfurt, Lagos and London.
Yemi says, "The transition from 'Mother' to 'Carer' can be daunting", for me, this experience has been life changing and challenging but fulfilling'.
As she continues to develop in her role, she gives God all the glory and today her daughter is a testimony of God's mercy and faithfulness.

The Scribble Class
The Scribble Class is designed to allow freedom of expression in a safe and spiritually relaxed environment.
We will focus on Fanning the Flame on our gifts and combine praise worship with relaxation techniques.
With eyes closed, spontaneous scribble on paper is encouraged with continuous flowing lines whilst focusing on God.
We examine these line patterns and images from different angles, adding detail, colours and modifications.
It's exciting to see what God brings forth from our own hands and hearts when we are true to Him.
Is something interfering with your relationship with God? The Lord may reveal something new in your life, you may choose to share feelings about a scribble picture, or a prayer point and discuss with a member of the prayer team at the end of the class.
Through your art scribble, you will be encouraged to listen to God and fan into flame the gift in you.
