William Wade
Born and
raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, William was converted in his late
teens. By this stage in his young life, he had already developed a
habitual drinking and solvent abuse problem. He was a member of the
skinhead movement and had allegiance to extreme right-wing and Loyalist
Paramilitary viewpoints, which led to violent behaviour and a police
record including assault, criminal damage and disorderly behaviour.
After the
witness of two gate-crashing
fifteen year old Christian girls at a party, William and his friends
were challenged to go to church, which they did, with the intent of
disrupting the meeting. As it turned out, they were the ones who were
disrupted and three weeks later, four
of these young men, including William, committed their lives to Jesus
Christ.
William has
since gone on to serve seven years as a
British soldier, serving in Northern Ireland, England, Germany and Saudi
Arabia / Kuwait. He was also the undefeated Army boxing champion at
Welterweight. He has studied for the Christian ministry and has spent
the last six years as a missionary to British
Forces in Germany with SASRA (www.sasra.org.uk).
William and his family attend IBC Dusseldorf.
William is
married to Tulsi with one daughter, Micah, and another child due in
July.
Worship leader: Alyssa
Alyssa
is a native Californian who has lived in Austria for the last 20 years.
Together with her husband, she recently moved to Frankfurt, Germany and
is currently establishing herself as a Singer/Songwriter and promoting
her debut album “Not gonna let it”.
A classically trained pianist, Alyssa also enjoys
using her gifts in the area of piano teaching and worship leading. For
this conference she’ll be bringing some of her band members from Vienna.
With special worship times and a great concert, this is definitely one
weekend you won’t want to miss!!
